Booth of the SPIGF was represented within the framework of The 27th World Gas Congress

On 25-29 June, the representatives of the Directorate of the St. Petersburg International Gas Forum took part in the 27th World Gas Congress (WGC-2018), which was held in the US capital Washington.

WGC is one of the largest international forums focusing on the issues of development of the gas industry and effective use of energy. The Congress is held every three years under the auspices of the International Gas Union (IGU).

The Congress and the exhibition were traditionally attended by top officials of a wide number of states across the globe, representatives of government authorities, R&D and public organizations, as well as heads of the world's leading energy companies, such as Chevron, ExxonMobil, Qatar Petroleum, BP, Total, ConocoPhillips, Shell, etc.

 

The World Gas Congress was attended by 12,000 delegates from 100 countries around the world. The total exhibition area was about 40,000 sq.m. and included expositions of 350 leading companies of the gas industry.

 

As part of the exhibition program of WGC, the St. Petersburg International Gas Forum represented its exposition. The team of ExpoForum International held a number of business meetings with representatives of Qatar Petroleum, KOGAS (Korean Gas Corporation), FLUITEC, DVGW, Sewerin, Energy Brains Consulting, etc. During the talks, the officials discussed issues of mutual interest, as well as prospects for future cooperation.
