The Forum will finalize the results of the best socially-oriented oil and gas company contest

October 6th will see the final of the contest for the best socially-oriented oil and gas company, as well as the awarding of winners in selected categories.

The Council of Veterans and the Youth Council of the Oil and Gas Industry under the Ministry of Energy of the Russian Federation has come up with the initiative to run the industry's best socially-oriented company contest at the 7th St. Petersburg International Gas Forum (Russian Energy Week). The event will be conducted with the support of the Ministry of Energy of Russia.

The competition is intended to boost the social policy of organizations, to reveal, learn and share the experience of the most active socially-oriented organizations that have proven highly effective in solving social tasks, improving the quality of working and living conditions of employees, and popularizing oil and gas industry.

The competition committee includes representatives of the Council of Veterans and the Youth Council of the Oil and Gas Industry under the Ministry of Energy of the Russian Federation, representatives of the Ministry of Energy.

The secret voting will find out the best socially oriented oil and gas company of 2017 to be awarded a special prize from the Minister of Energy of the Russian Federation. Awards will also be received by prize-winners in a number of categories.

The industry's 10 largest companies confirmed their participation in the contest: Rosneft, Gazprom, Gazprom Neft, NOVATEK, Zarubezhneft, Transneft, Tatneft, LUKOIL, RussNeft, Surgutneftegas.
