Preliminary Program released for SPIGF 2017

To date, around 60 events have been planned to be included into the Forum’s program, including events supported by the Ministry of Energy of the Russian Federation and the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation.

The central event will be the plenary session, where experts are going to discuss topical issues of development of the Russian gas complex, its role in the world energy balance, and plenty of other questions. Largest Russian and foreign companies, representatives of the Ministry of Energy of the Russian Federation, the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation, the Government of St. Petersburg and the Government of the Leningrad Region are invited to take part in the Forum.

A large proportion of discussions will be devoted to automation and informatization. Experts are going to explore a variety of strategies to improve production, processing and transmission of gas using intelligent technologies.

This year, SPIGF will include the congress on gas engine fuel, where experts will discuss the development of the industry in terms of using gas engine fuel in transport, conversion to liquefied natural gas, development of low-tonnage LNG, and a host of other issues.
