On October 3 at the stand arranged by Wintershall Dea within the exhibition of St. Petersburg International Gas Forum, a welcome reception took place in observance of the German Unity Day.

In his welcome speech Mr. Mario Mehren, Chairman of the Board and CEO at Wintershall Dea GmbH, congratulated all in attendance: “Today is a very important day for Germans – on October 3, Germany was reunited. This event has significantly affected destinies of many today’s guests. For us standing here it is especially important that we can celebrate one of the most remarkable days in the German history here in St. Petersburg, at St. Petersburg International Gas Forum. I’d like to remind you that October 3 is the day of the Peaceful Revolution, which happened when different political parties of the two countries got ready for a dialogue. It’s amazing what unparallel results we can deliver if we’re ready to communicate.”
