Transformation of corporate culture of companies contributes to the development of the entire oil and gas industry

The third day of the conference HR and Social Policies of Companies in Development of the Russian Oil and Gas Complex, which takes place as part of SPIGF 2019, started with a discussion of the topic Unique HR and Social Projects. Representatives of backbone companies in the oil and gas sector shared their experience in transforming corporate culture to achieve promising goals.

Elena Surmeiko, Director of the Corporate Culture Transformation Program of Gazprom Neft PJSC, told how, by changing the paradigm of corporate culture, it was possible to increase the level of staff involvement. The report of the Head of the Personnel Development Department of HR department of Rosneft PJSC was devoted to the impact of corporate training programs on the development of the labor and personal potential of emloyees at all levels. Rifdar Khamadyarov, Deputy Head of the Corporate Culture Development Division of Tatneft PJSC, shared his experience of creating a corporate culture that would allow the corporation to achieve the highest KPI. Possible forms of company interaction within the framework of industry-wide social partnership were highlighted by Dmitry Chasovnikov, manager of the personnel department of Rosneft PJSC. Representatives of Transneft Siberia JSC and East Siberian Oil and Gas Company JSC, spoke about the impact of social infrastructure on the level of loyalty of the workforce. The need for effective work to resolve labor disputes was stressed by Kirill Bogush, Deputy Chairman of the Gazprom Workers’ Union.

The issues raised by the speakers in their speeches and ways to overcome them were relevant not only for their own companies. This was confirmed by a large number of questions from the audience: the session participants were keenly interested in the methods and details of the presented projects.
