The seminar has been held as part of the Forum's convention program for six consecutive years. This is a unique, in a league of its own project giving an overall picture of  industries evolving through the long years of their history with a future perspective.

The program of the event will cover the following topics:

• The history of import substitution in mechanical engineering;
• The history of the oil piping system development in Russia.

This year, the seminar will be held for the first time as a planned event of the Ministry of Energy of Russia.The event will be attended by the heads of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia and the Ministry of Energy of Russia, as well as leading scientists and industry experts.
