The architecture covers 18 focus areas.

Traditionally, the convention agenda of the 12th St. Petersburg International Gas Forum will include conferences, meetings, and round-table discussions.

The technical areas of focus will include design and construction for the gas industry, gas engine fuel, natural gas based products and natural gas conversion technologies. Industry-wide tracks will cover human resource management enhancement, ethics and compliance, as well as investment and financial tools intended for the sector. There will be some new topics, too, in particular, research and development in the oil & gas sector, industrial safety, and labor protection.

Special focus will be on the import substitution, search of new growth points to support high performance technological cooperation and leadership in the gas sector, new LNG-related projects, and global collaborations.

The key event of the St. Petersburg International Gas Forum will be the Plenary Session scheduled for November 2, which is to be joined by major companies of the sector.
