On 4 October, as part of SPIGF, an agreement was signed on the interaction of Technical Committees on Standardization.

The document was signed by Vitaly Markelov, Chairman of the Technical Committee for Standardization "Oil and Gas Industry" (TC 23), Deputy Chairman of the Management Committee of Gazprom, Anton Shalaev, Deputy Head of the Federal Agency for Technical Regulation and Metrology of the Russian Federation and authorized representatives of TC 245 "Pumps", TC 259 "Pipeline valves and bellows", TC 318 "Morflot", TC 357 "Steel and cast-iron pipes and cylinders", TC 364 "Welding and related processes", TC 439 "Automation equipment and control systems."

The goal of cooperation is the implementation of the national program, taking its shape at the moment, on the standardization of the development of solutions and equipment in the field of oil refining, petrochemistry, processing and liquefaction of natural gas (LNG).

The efforts of 7 technical committees put together will contribute to the development of progressive national and interstate standards in the field of LNG production.

The process will be coordinated by TC 23 "Oil and gas industry."
