The Russian Export Center (REC) became the single point of contact for export-oriented Russian oil and gas companies. For the third time, it took part in the 9th St. Petersburg International Gas Forum as a partner.

REC is the agent for export-oriented companies as regards to financial and non-financial support. The REC Group comprises the Russian Agency for Export Credit and Investment Insurance (EXIAR) and ROSEXIMBANK.

«One of the tasks REC intends to solve is removing restrictions for business engaged into export activities,» said Andrey Slepnev CEO of the Russian Export Center. «Last year, REC managed to support over 10 thousand exporters, and we can help any businessman find something of immediate interest, something special.»

In cooperation with the Russian Export Center (REC), 20 participating companies presented their products at personal stands, including Constanta-2, IPC, Sealur, Nasosy PPD, NTE, Amira, Regulator, Group of companies Turbulentnost Don, Group of companies Intratool, Kosmos Neft Gas, GasServiceComposite NPE, Technoproject NPE, PKTBA, Prosoft Systems, OMK, Gydromashservice, Chelpipe, and SKATZ. The model range of legendary Russian vehicles URAL and LADA by URAL Automotive Plant and ATS Service is worth mentioning. They presented newly designed contemporary vehicles produced at their own lines.

Moreover, the collective stand by REC brought together 4 companies: Pemsnabsbyt PPMTS, Agro, Fidesys, and Meta-chrome, which also demonstrated their proposals. Agro transportation agency told about their services of cargo transportation of oil and gas, as well as drilling equipment across Russia and Europe, specialists of Fidesys engineering company presented their software for the oil and gas industry. The fourth participant of the collective stand – Meta-Chrome – produces gas chromatographs (analytical devices for complex gas compounds) and designs measuring units for companies belonging to different industry sectors. Such chromatographs are applied for investigations in the food, medical, mining and other industries.

The most interesting exponent at this stand was an important project by Permsnabsbyt – an anode grounding unit of AZP RA type that doesn’t have equivalents anywhere globally. This device protects steel communications like gas and water pipelines from corrosion. Advantages of the grounding unit are environmental safety (it gradually decomposes if operated within the ground), long service life (min. 35 years), density, and easy assembling. «Key field of our company’s concern is complex solution of tasks associated with electrical chemical corrosion protection: its leading by means of implied current and relieving to the ground or some other surface,» the company representatives explained.

Experts of the Center took part in the business program of the Forum, too. On October 3, 2019, the delegates were offered to join a conference with international participation Export Prospects FOR Russian Oil and Gas Technology. The event was moderated by Maxim Kobin, Managing Director for Client Work, EXIAR (REC Group).
