On October 3-6, ExpoForum is hosting the 7th St. Petersburg International Gas Forum. At the exhibition, exhibitors showcase their new products and equipment for the gas sector.

Innovative-industrial group ServiceSoft from Tula presents its gas contamination monitoring systems for cross-walks. The company has been engaged in telemetry for more than 10 years, has its own production complex and offers customer ready solutions, 24-hour service and equipment warranty.

"The monitoring system monitors the contamination of parkings, underground automobile and railway crossings, helps to control the concentration of explosive methane. It automatically notifies the dispatcher of possible gas leaks, can flexibly adjust and can work autonomously for 3 years," – says Alexander Yudin, Senior Technical Specialist of ServiceSoft. According to him, such equipment is bought by inter regional gas organisations, gas distributing organisations, organizations associated with Gazprom, as well as private companies.

The anti-vandal system "LD BLOCK" is another novelty of the SPIGF exhibition, produced by the group of companies LD (Chelyabinsk). "LD BLOCK" is designed to prevent unauthorized changes in the position of the bulb stopper, which allows you to leave a gas pipeline tap outdoors without special protective casings. It is generally purchased by Russian gas distribution organizations.

"Our system, which securely blocks access to the tap control, has the sealing capability, and, most importantly, can be purchased separately and installed on the neck of the standard LD ball valve instead of the handle," – says the marketing director of ChelyabinskSpetsGrazhdanStroy LLC ("LD Pipe Valves") Artem Sotnikov.

Chemservice JSC, the manufacturer of anode earthing switches "Mendeleevets", unveiled its new product – an installation for soldering cathode terminals and a set of additional equipment. According to Evgeny Vakhrushev, Head of the Marketing Department of the company, the installation helps to quickly make high-quality soldering and minimize operator errors, eliminating the human factor: "Thermite soldering is very common nowadays. The operator should be very experienced not to burn through the metal. We rely on the machine gun. The operator must prepare, connect the device, press the button and in a couple of seconds he gets a ready soldering".

The device is autonomous, uses a battery and allows you to make up to 40 solderings without recharging – this allows you to complete the work in one shift.

Another new product of Chemservice is wire for the assembly of an anode earthing. The product is suitable for corrosive environments of all kinds, is combustion-proof and can serve up to 30 years, as well as the anode earth electrode itself.

Vladimir Asaturov, Head of the product line "Functional equipment" of NPP Elemer, said that the company's plant in Zelenograd has a full cycle production — from the scientific and technical centre to implementation of finished products, creating a complete line of automation equipment for technological processes.

At the exhibition, Elemer presented new products for the oil and gas industry, most of which were developed according to the technical requirements of Gazrom. These are pressure sensors, temperature sensors with appropriate certificates, including for explosion protection. The new business line of the company is flowmeters and level gauges. In addition, Elemer has the accredited right to quality-control its products and is the second private company in the world that has its own temperature standard.

Ruslan Imaliev from the Bashkir company IDS technologies presents an unmanned aerial vehicle IDS-4 for monitoring of long-length objects. The drone can fly autonomously up to 800 km and raise up to 8 kg of payload: spectral cameras, thermal imagers, video and cameras, gas analysis equipment.

"The device helps to assess the linear parts of trunklines, examine the pipeline tie-ins, monitor the environmental condition, monitor cutting down of trees and keep subcontractors under control. You can monitor the condition of the pipes: leaks, losses," – Mr. Imaliev says.

In comparison with analogues, IDS-4 is fully roboticized, takes off and touches down automatically, and can be used by owners of gas pipelines, as well as by companies providing monitoring services.

The Eastern Reinforcing Company (Vark), which includes IDS Technologies, operates in Blagoveshchensk and is one of the leading Russian manufacturers of shut-off pipeline valves. It is the first time that Vark participates in SPIGF. The company presented a new regulating valve with a 100 mm diameter. The equipment is produced within the framework of import substitution program and opens a new series of valves that regulate pressure and ambient environment. The company is ready to offer Gazprom all its new products.

The 7th St. Petersburg International Gas Forum finishes on October 6. About 500 companies from 14 countries take part in the exhibition program.
