On 30 September, Comita Group of Companies will for the fourth time take part in St. Petersburg International Gas Forum, which will be held from 1 to 4 October, 2019 at ExpoForum in St. Petersburg. Along with the presentation of its innovative solutions in the field of industrial automation, telecommunications and digitalization in a number of industries of the oil and gas sector, the management of Comita Group of Companies will talk about the prospects for cooperation, research and training for the fuel and energy complex of the Russian Federation in cooperation with Gubkin Russian State University of Oil and Gas

Under the agreement, which will be signed on 3 October by Viktor Martynov, Rector of the Russian State University of Oil and Gas, and Vyacheslav Kramarenko, CEO of Main Company of Comita Group of Companies, the parties will announce the beginning of a strategic partnership and long-term cooperation programs in three different areas.

 

 

First, as part of higher education, professional training and retraining programs for oil and gas industry specialists at the Faculty of Automation and Computer Engineering of Gubkin Russian State University of Oil and Gas, Comita Group will be the first to implement a training simulator complex that simulates various operating modes of a compressor station with electric GPUs. The exposition will be based on production automation systems of the ELNA research and implementation company: GPU automatic control system, automatic process control system of compressor plant, automatic fire alarm system, gas pollution and firefighting control, automated power supply control system. All the systems are built on the Russian controller of the ELPK series developed by the innovation company ELNA, which corresponds to all requirements of state and industry standards, and SCADA system – "MasterSCADA" of the company "INSAT" For students of the Faculty of Automotive and Air Transport, this simulator complex will allow conducting laboratory workshops in the areas of "Technical means of automation", "Fundamentals of programming controllers", "Automation of technological processes." On the other hand, for students of the faculty of design, construction and operation of pipeline transport systems, this complex will provide skills in starting, normal and emergency shutdowns of compressor stations and will allow them to use their theoretical knowledge obtained in the learning process on a training simulator. The use of such "digital" solutions makes the university’s core programs more competitive in the global market for training technical specialists in the oil and gas industry.

Secondly, the signatories of the agreement plan to initiate joint research and development work in order to create commercial products for the needs of the industry, continuous updating of scientific and educational laboratories with the installation of manufactured automation systems and software products, development of full-time and distance digital courses for higher education programs and vocational training and retraining programs for oil and gas industry professionals, specialised lectures and courses on innovation and digitalization in the oil and gas industry. Specialists of the Comita Group of Companies are ready to share their experience, talk about modern trends in the field of automation, informatization, digitalization and robotization of production to students of specialised departments of the Faculty of Automation and Computer Engineering and industry specialists taking advanced training courses.

The parties have also confirmed their intention to start accepting students from the University for internships, as well as implementing continuing education programs for faculty members at the production facilities of Comita Group of Companies.

The signing ceremony will be held on 3 October, 2019 at 15.00 at the stand of Comita Group of Companies (Pavilion F section E3, stand number 91) at SPIGF 2019. Following the signing of the agreement, a media scrum will also be held with the participation of signatories to the agreement. Prior accreditation is required to attend the ceremony.
