DISCUSSION:

Any state’s progress depends on how extensively they use up-to-date materials. Because of high consumer appeal, the products for petrochemical industry have a special place in line.

In 2024, the petrochemical sector is still progressing despite the overall global recession. They also expect an increase of the production capacity and consumption of polymer materials. Countries like China and South Korea are expanding their production capacities and step up export. Russia is also working to extend its petrochemical sector. It is getting adjusted to sanctions and collaborating with Asian producers.

During the Panel Discussion, a wide range of matters will be discussed, including the ones related to development of new production initiatives, further implementation of the ones that have been delayed, definition of basic areas of focus for scientific research required for development of the oil and gas sector, and impact of the new technological practice on the progress within the industry.

ISSUES TO BE DISCUSSED:
  • Economical and technological aspects of Russia’s oil processing sector development
  • Standardization and development of the standard and regulatory basis in the oil and gas procession sphere
  • Import substitution of equipment for petrochemical and oil processing enterprises
  • Oil and gas procession equipment
  •
