Forum news

In ExpoForum Exhibition and Convention Centre has started the 7th St. Petersburg International Gas Forum. Latest developments in the oil and gas market are represented by more than 300 major industry companies, including Gazprom, OMV, Uniper SE, Air Liquide, RUSNANO, TMK, HMS Group, CHELPIPE Group, StroyTransNefteGas, Gazprom Avtomatizatsiya and many others.

On October 3rd opened the Forum's exposition with three international industry exhibitions "InGAS Stream – Innovations in the Gas Industry", "Gas Engine Fuel", "ROS-GAS-EXPO" and the specialized exposition "Import Substitution in the Gas Industry" displayed as part of the event.

On the first day of SPIGF-2017, participants demonstrated non-conventional techniques of promoting the gas industry. For example, Chelpipe Group's new technology of hybrid-laser welding was presented by magician-illusionists making a "sawing of a person" performance.

At its exposition, the shipyard of historical shipbuilding "Poltava" showed SPIGF-2017 visitors the construction of a full-size model of the first 54-gun linear ship of the Baltic Fleet "Poltava", launched in 1712.

Visitors of the Gas Transmission Museum’s exposition, especially young people, had the chance to find out exciting things about natural science and learn more about engineering professions in the gas industry.

InGAS Stream-2017 has presented future-proof and existing solutions of manufacturers and suppliers of the equipment used in all stages the gas industry's process chain: from exploration, through production and transportation to processing and usage of natural gas.

In the framework of the 4th International specialized exhibition "Gas Engine Fuel", all visitors to SPIGF-2017 were shown technological developments in the field of gas engine fuel, such as gas filling stations and columns, gas-cylinder equipment, mobile gas tankers and modern communication and payment systems at filling stations.

Visitors of the 21st International Specialized Exhibition of the Gas Industry and Technical Facilities for the Gas Industry "ROS-GAZ-EXPO" learned about new developments in manufacturing: equipment for gasification of houses and industrial enterprises, gas-powered equipment, control equipment, pipeline valves, etc.

To support the potential of the Russian industry in terms of substituting imported equipment for the oil and gas industry, was launched the second specialized exposition "Import Substitution in the Gas Industry", which this year focuses on Russian equipment and advanced technological solutions for LNG (liquefied natural gas) plants.

Please note that on October 5th the 11th international motor rally "Blue Corridor-2017: Iberia-Baltic" will come to its finish. Natural gas-powered trucks and cars that took part in the rally travelled more than 5,000 kilometres through Portugal, Spain, Italy, Germany, Poland, the Baltic states and Russia. It is the first time that liquefied natural gas-powered transport takes part in the rally including: IVECO Stralis, SCANIA P340, KAMAZ 56117, URAL NEXT, MAZ 534023.
