During the event, the participants evaluated the progress made in the convention and exhibition industry this year in St. Petersburg, and set up some collaborative work plans for 2020.
On December 6, the final event of the Annual Forum on Convention and Exhibition Activities took place in the St. Petersburg-based Astoria Hotel. The event was arranged by the Convention and Exhibition Bureau of the St. Petersburg Tourism Development Committee.
Under the business program of the Annual Forum, Denis Osadchiy, Development Director of ExpoForum International, delivered his report Energy Projects by EXPOFORUM International. From industry-specific projects to global events. In his report, Mr. Osadchiy summarized results of the completed 9th St. Petersburg International Gas Forum and 7th Russian International Energy Forum. The speaker remarked that «holding such large-scale events in St. Petersburg reinforces business climate of the city, thus enhancing and extending the regional and international cooperation.»
The event was participated by about 120 experts, including officials of the Administration of St. Petersburg, top managers of companies working in the convention and exhibition industry, the hospitality sector of St. Petersburg and the corresponding services.
