SPIGF 2024 is turning to the East. Teaming up with Asia while under sanctions will be discussed at the Gas Forum

The event will take place on October 9, from 14.00 through 16.00 (Moscow time) in the Conference Hall of the Press Centre (Level 2).

Top experts will study the prospects of the Russian-Asian business collaborations in the gas sector while under sanctions. They will specially focus on the matters of foreign business activities, investments, and cross-border payments.

Some of the topics to be covered are gas supply after the sanctions have been imposed, refocusing of trade markets, implementation of large-scale projects in collaboration with countries of Asia, challenges and prospects for the gas industry if Russia turns to the East.

This session will offer great opportunities for experience sharing and talking about the pressing issues of the gas industry growth and development in collaboration with the Asian countries.

The event will be moderated by Maxim Kuznetsov – Сhairman of the Russian-Asian Business Council. The list of speakers includes Gao Qi – Chief Representative in Russia, CCPIT (online), Vadim Pugach – Analyst at the Analytical Department of the Economic Forecasting Centre, Gazprombank (JSC), Divesh Kumar – Economic Adviser to the Trade Representative of India in the Russian Federation, and Anna Grunenko – Vice President and Head of Bank Support for Cross-Border Projects at Gazprombank (JSC).
