The Organizing Committee in charge of preparing for and holding the 'Russian Energy Week' Energy Efficiency and Energy Development International Forum held a regular meeting on 26 July chaired by Russian Minister of Energy Alexander Novak.
The 'Russian Energy Week' Energy Efficiency and Energy Development International Forum will take in Moscow on 3–7 October 2017.
The main goal of the Forum is to discuss relevant issues in global energy, identify areas for the development of the main sectors of the fuel and energy industry, and search for optimal solutions to respond to existing challenges.

Commenting on the business programme, Russian Deputy Minister of Energy and Deputy Chairman of the Organizing Committee Anton Inyutsyn said the theme of this year’s forum will be ‘Energy for Global Growth’. «The business programme will feature a discussion of the main challenges facing the energy sector and current problems with its development. There will be a whole series of discussions on topical issues in the oil and gas industry, the power industry, the coal industry, energy efficiency, and the international agenda», Inyutsyn said.
A key part of the forum’s programme will also be Russian Energy Week Youth Day, which will be largely devoted to the #BrighterTogether
