In December 2012, by the decision of PJSC Gazprom, the Limited Liability Company Gazprom Gas Motor Fuel was established. The company's strategic goal is to expand the use of natural gas (methane) in transport, to establish itself as an industry leader in the motor fuel market in Russia. The main areas of activity are the sale of natural gas as a motor fuel, the construction and operation of the filling infrastructure of the Gazprom CNG filling station network, interaction with federal and regional authorities, automakers on the integrated development of the market, and the promotion of the use of natural gas in transport under the EcoGas brand. In total, there are more than 680 gas filling facilities in Russia. At present, Gazprom gazomotornoye toplivo manages more than 320 gas filling infrastructure facilities. The head office of Gazprom Gas Motor Fuel is located in St. Petersburg. Branches - in Moscow, Kazan, Yekaterinburg, Tomsk, Krasnodar, St. Petersburg, Nizhny Novgorod, as well as representative offices in Rostov-on-Don, Kaliningrad and Khabarovsk.
