The main activity of the production and design center is the development, manufacture and supply of non-standard metal-cutting and automatic welding equipment at Russian nuclear power plants, installation and repair organizations of the Rosenergoatom concern, enterprises of the space, thermal, energy, chemical, gas processing, shipbuilding and food industries. "KONSTAR" has developed, manufactured and produced more than 500 models of mechanisms for various purposes – these are detachable and non-removable pipe cutters with pneumatic, electric and hydraulic drive for cutting pipes and chamfering, chamfer edge cutting machine for processing the ends of pipelines, welding heads, welding complexes for automatic welding, complexes of special cutting and welding equipment for replacing technological channels of the reactor RBMK, equipment for repair and installation of heat exchangers, shut-off valves, and much more.
