FC Zenit Saint Petersburg

Zenit Football Club was founded in May 1925. "Zenit" is the only team in the Premier League representing St. Petersburg. Independent analysts estimate that 60 percent of St. Petersburg citizens support Zenit and more than 80 percent of St. Petersburg residents consider the team a symbol of the Northern Capital. "Zenit has won 25 trophies: the Russian Champions Cup (1984, 2007, 2010, 2012, 2015, 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022), the National Cup (1944, 1999, 2010, 2016, 2020) and the Super Cup (1985, 2008, 2011, 2015, 2016, 2020, 2021, 2022), the Premier League Cup (2003), the UEFA Cup and the UEFA Super Cup (both 2008).
