It was decided to postpone the Forum previously scheduled for October 6 to 9, 2026, as this month is extensively rich with other large-scale and similarly focused events.<\/em><\/p>\n Besides the traditional Russian energy week, this year in October our country is hosting the Summit of Heads of State and Government of the Gas Exporting Countries Forum (GECF) and holding the Russia\u2013Africa Summit.<\/p>\n Reference letter<\/em><\/p>\n The St. Petersburg International Gas Forum (SPIGF) has been held since 2011. SPIGF 2025 has become the biggest event throughout its history. The Forum brought together the unprecedented number of participants, namely 35.8 thousand of companies\u2019 representatives, state officials, top experts, analysts, scientists and students from dedicated universities, all coming from 52 countries.
