The business program includes over 30 events, with a number of them supported by the Ministry of Energy of the Russian Federation. More than 100 industry experts will convene to discuss the issues of safe and uninterrupted supply of electricity and heat to consumers, conditions bolstering implementation of advanced technologies in the Russian energy sector, promotion of the <\/span> The plenary meeting «Energy security of Russia – a fundamental principle of economic development» will take the centre stage and will feature representatives of the Ministry of Energy of the Russian Federation, the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation, the Government of St. Petersburg and Leningrad Region Government.<\/span><\/p>\n The Forum will also focus on security issues of the energy industry in the Russian Federation, implementation of national programs, improvement of the investment policy, innovative solutions in the heat and energy sector, energy efficient technologies, development of environmentally clean renewable energy generation in Russia.<\/span><\/p>\n It is for the 24th time that the specialized exhibition ENERGETIKA & ELEKTROTECHNIKA (Power and Electrical Engineering) will bring together leading energy producers, equipment and service suppliers for the heat and electricity networks, allowing them to showcase innovative industrial, technological and hardware solutions. Exhibition participants will include such industry leaders as the manufacturer of heavy engineering <\/span> In the year 2016, RIEF hosted about 30 events with over 2000 participants from all over the world. Over 250 companies from 12 countries across the globe took part in the exhibition ENERGETIKA & ELEKTROTECHNIKA (Power and Electrical Engineering).
