The State’s Role and Tasks in the Human Capital Formation Within the Fuel-and-Energy Sector Will be Discussed During the Forum

On October 6th, during SPIGF the Staff Conference Human assets – investment into the sustainable Russian economy will take place.

The event will be participated by Fedor Prokopov – the Chairman of the Professional Standards Commission, the Vice-President of the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs, Viktor Martynov – the Rector of Gubkin Russian State University of Oil and Gas, Igor Maksimtsev – the Rector of the St. Petersburg State University of Economics, and others.

The panel discussion will be held in four sections. During the section Labor Market of the Oil and Gas INDUSTRY the participants will discuss the global development trends of the labor market in the energy sector, recruitment needs planning in the oil and gas industry, career path management in the current environment, building-up the unified engineering personnel pool, as well as labor performance improvement in this industry.

The key subject of the section Development of the professional skills system in the oil and gas complex will be the application of professional standards in the Russian oil and gas industry and establishment of the qualification assessment centers.

In the section Cooperation between the INDUSTRY and the educational agencies the professional and municipal accreditation of educational programs and dual education in terms of the best industrial practice will be discussed.

The main subjects of the section Changes adopted in the labor law. Usage of new standards in the industrial enterprises, practice oriented examples will be the changes adopted in the Labor Code of the Russian Federation as of June 18, 2017, the new sanctions against the law violation, the changes in the labor terms for drivers introduced from June 2017, as well as changes to the professional standards coming into effect on January 1, 2017.

The event is staged by the St. Petersburg State University of Economics with the support of the Ministry of Energy of the Russian Federation.
