On October 5, the official tour of the exhibition of the 7th St. Petersburg International Gas Forum took place. The exposition was visited by Vitaly Markelov, Deputy Chairman of the Management Committee of Gazprom, member of the Board of Directors of Gazprom, and other high-ranking delegates.
CHELPIPE GROUP (Chelyabinsk Pipe-Rolling Plant) took part in the joint exposition of Gazprom "Import Substitution in the Gas Industry". CHELPIPE GROUP brought high-tech liquefied natural gas transportation products: pipes with 88.9 mm diameter and 7.62 mm wall thickness and pipeline branches of 89, 159 and 325 mm diameters.
The company had its own exposition at the exhibition, the main exhibit of which was a pipe sample produced using laser hybrid welding. The possibilities of this technology were demonstrated in the performance "Sawing a human", which was shown to the guests of the Forum by an artist, an illusionist and a magician.
TMK, one of the world's largest producers of pipe products for the oil and gas industry, introduced steam cranes, cast valves and other products. As part of the SPIGF, the company entered into an agreement on long-term strategic cooperation with Gazprom Burenie. According to the document, TMK becomes the key supplier of the entire range of heavyweight drill pipes, which Gazprom Burenie actively uses to drill wells in the fields throughout Russia. The agreement is valid until 2022 inclusive.
United Metallurgical Company presented its newest developments of import-substituting products for the gas industry: shut-off and control valves for special operating conditions, a pipe and a tap with a cladding layer, one of the modules of an automated gas distribution station with operating on liquefied natural gas.
HMS Group exhibited solutions in the field of tubing and other processing equipment for the extraction, transportation and treatment of gas and gas condensate, including equipment for LNG plants. The company's exposition displayed prototypes of equipment and models of engineering units for the gas industry. At the specialized exposition "Import Substitution in the Gas Industry" the company showcased its new solutions (compressor systems for large-tonnage and medium-tonnage LNG production, modular compressor units of the new generation Mobile Compressor Unit TAKAT), modular, separation and heat-exchange equipment with a good track record at the gas industry's operation facilities.
The delegation also visited stand of Perm Region. The regional governor Maxim Reshetnikov introduced to Vitaly Markelov the region's companies showing to him the solutions made by the Research and Development Company Iskra, of the Photonics cluster, the solutions of IntroScan Technology and the Chusovoy Pipe Restoration Project, one of the first projects implemented in the territories of advanced socio-economic development (TOASED Chusovoy). A unique Perm robot-defectoscope produced by IntroScan Technology was shown. It helps to control the base metal and welding seams without destroying them.
The delegation made a tour around the exposition inside the pavilion and on the street square, inspected the stands of Gazprom Gas-Engine Fuel, Rusnano, Uniper and other companies.
